U.S. and Hungary Strengthen Nuclear Cooperation
On Monday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed a civil nuclear partnership agreement with Hungary. During the signing ceremony, he emphasized the strong ties between the United States and Hungary, noting the close relationship between President Donald Trump and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
Rubio remarked that the relations between the two nations are “as close as you can imagine.” He highlighted that Hungary’s success ultimately benefits the U.S. as well. This point is worth noting, as it reflects a shared vision for mutual growth.
He also expressed confidence that Trump would be eager to provide assistance if Hungary faced any financial difficulties or challenges to its stability.
In a related context, President Trump has previously praised Orbán, showing support for his re-election. He described Orbán as a strong leader dedicated to protecting Hungary and enhancing its economy. It’s interesting, really—this endorsement underscores a broader political alignment that seems to resonate with many voters in both countries.
Trump mentioned, “The relationship between Hungary and the United States has reached new heights of cooperation and impressive achievements under my administration.” This assertion reflects a commitment to ongoing collaboration between the two nations.
He continued to show his unwavering support for Orbán, stating that he would always stand by him and that the Prime Minister was indeed a true friend and fighter for his country.
