Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) said Thursday morning that pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses across the country highlight a “total breakdown of law and order.”
“There are hundreds of thousands of American students who are unable to return to campus, who feel unsafe, who are being disrupted during their finals,” Rubio said on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.” Told.

The Florida senator’s remarks came hours before President Biden spoke at the White House, where he criticized aspects of the protests, condemning vandalism and trespassing, while He emphasized his support for the demonstrations.

Rubio said students should be held responsible, arguing that body parts affect everyone else’s academic performance on campus.
