Ruler, robber, marionette: The three flaws of Volodymyr Zelenskyy uncovered

There’s a growing sense that the narrative surrounding Ukraine is starting to unravel. The image crafted by Ukrainian media—depicting the country as a stronghold of democracy—along with Voldymee Zelenkie’s portrayal as a modern-day Winston Churchill is losing credibility. A particular meeting in February with President Donald Trump unveiled a less flattering side of Zelensky, revealing his true nature.

After Trump suggested that Ukraine should not expect NATO membership, Zelensky’s response seemed defiant, indicating a commitment to pursue NATO membership regardless of the ongoing conflict. His stance suggested that the war would persist, seemingly at any cost to his people. This situation has been complicated by NATO’s expansion into Ukraine, which many view as a significant provocation for Russia’s military actions.

The US and NATO have engaged in proxy conflicts for both Russia and global interests.

Recently, Zelensky rejected a proposed peace plan from President Trump, thereby halting any potential for substantial negotiations.

Controversies Surrounding Zelensky

Retired Colonel Douglas McGregor earlier suggested that Zelensky has become a puppet of globalist interests, undermining peace opportunities. McGregor proposed that Trump withdraw military and financial support for Ukraine, cut ties with Zelensky, and bring American personnel home.

Zelensky’s presidency faced significant legitimacy challenges after he canceled elections to hold on to power. Donald Trump labeled him as a “dictator,” and it seems he might not even fully encompass that definition.

Zelensky has shut down independent media, banned opposition parties, and reportedly imprisoned critics. Some have even claimed he has tortured and killed dissidents. He’s also ordered aggressive recruitment methods for military personnel.

Furthermore, he has banned the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and imprisoned its clergy, all while his regime has been linked to far-right groups.

Zelensky has also exploited legal channels to target members of his own party who oppose his actions.

Voices of Dissent

Oleksandr Dubinsky, a former Zelensky ally and parliament member, has pushed back against what he describes as a politically motivated crackdown against him for criticizing corruption within the government. Arrested in late 2023 on treason charges, he has expressed intentions to run for president if elections ever resume.

In a recent courtroom statement, Dubinsky condemned the actions of Zelensky’s secret police, claiming they were involved in the torture and death of American journalist Gonzalo Lira, who was imprisoned simply for criticizing both Zelensky and Biden.

Interestingly, Dubinsky had once been an ally to Zelensky during his rise to power in 2019, when he campaigned on promises of peace with Russia. However, things changed dramatically when Zelensky began aligning with globalist ideals. Dubinsky now criticizes Zelensky for using far-right groups to solidify his control.

His insights cast a troubling light on Zelensky’s motivations, asserting that he is a creation of globalist forces aiming for power. “Zelenskyy embodies the interests of those who see war in Ukraine as a means to bolster their control,” he suggests. “This isn’t just about Ukraine.”

Many believe the conflict has little to do with Ukraine’s victory but is instead a proxy battle waged by the US and NATO to dismantle Russia. Dubinsky mentions, “The goal is prolonging the war, not securing an end.” Additionally, he states the immediate aim is to undermine Trump’s peace proposals.

George Soros previously envisioned a tactic of sacrificing Eastern Europeans for proxy wars, hoping to minimize risks for NATO personnel. Now, it seems Zelensky is expected to bear the burden for globalist ambitions, pushing his countrymen into the fray.

Before entering politics, Zelensky was primarily known as a comedian. Notably, Dubinsky observed that Zelensky’s recent public appearances feel like part of a calculated performance meant to manipulate political outcomes.

Conclusion

The entanglements of globalist and neoconservative ambitions are palpable, as evident in the current actions surrounding Ukraine. Trump may genuinely seek peace, but continuing support for Zelensky undermines that goal. Since taking office, he has spoken about peace, yet largely maintained previous administrations’ approaches, which might not suffice moving forward.

Trump catapulted to prominence partly because he capitalized on a peace-oriented platform. His pledge to dismantle neoconservative frameworks was bold, but as time passes without significant reforms, the neocon power structure begins to reassert itself.

Zelensky openly defies Trump while leveraging support from European leaders, illustrating the depth of the neocon influence in the current administration. Even military leaders seem to support prolonging the conflict. This also reveals how resilient the neocon establishment remains, so fundamentally deep-rooted in the political framework.

If Trump aims to salvage Ukraine and his own presidency, he may need to disentangle from the grasp of neoconservatives and halt all aid to Ukraine.

People seem to be waking up to Zelensky’s real character: a dictator, a thief, and a puppet of globalist interests stalling peace efforts. Time might be running out for that narrative.
