In a recent interview with People magazine, the 59-year-old actor said that while he initially thought it was a “minor accident” on the set of an action movie, he didn’t realize he had broken his leg until 10 years later. , he revealed.
“I jumped off the castle pier onto the rock-hard uneven ground,” Crowe told the outlet. “We should have cleared the ground and filled in the pads, but we were rushing to complete the shoot in dim light.”

Crowe recalled that she started experiencing “very strange pains” in her lower legs and decided to see a doctor, undergoing an MRI and X-ray imaging.
“I didn’t think it was anything serious,” he told People magazine. “After surviving a long New York winter, my body was starved of exercise and sunlight.”
But Crowe said she was shocked when doctors looked at the X-rays and asked when she had broken her leg.
