It was a heartwarming Sunday scene at Bay Hill on the 18th. Russell Henry was greeted by his wife Tail and three children following his fifth PGA Tour victory at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando.
In a final round duel with Morakawa, Henry posted a one-over 37 on the front 9 towards Morikawa's 1-under 35, but headed to the top of the leaderboard on the 14th with a birdie and a 2-under 70 victory on the 16th with a dramatic chip-in-eagle.
Morikawa shot 72.
“I really didn't feel like there was a big opportunity at that point. Colin was as stable as usual.” Henry said According to the Associated Press, it is Sunday. “So sticking there enough to give yourself a look is what I take from today.”
When Henry sealed off the fifth PGA Tour victory of his career, Tail and the couple's children looked up close before meeting the 35-year-old golfer.
Henry then accepted Tail. Who he said “I'll put steel in my spine.” The couple have been married since 2015.
“It's just crazy that happened like that,” Henry said of the victory.
In addition to scooping up $4 million out of his $20 million wallet, Henry will crack the top ten of the world's golf rankings following Sunday's victory.
He was also awarded the event's signature red cardigan.
“It's still surreal to wear this here,” Henry said.
Entering Sunday, Henry's latest PGA Tour victory took place at the World Wide Technology Championship in November 2022.
He finished fifth at the opening last July.
Next up is the Player Championship, which begins Thursday at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, but the first major of the season, the 2025 Master, is about a month away.
Henry's best finish at Augusta National was two years ago in a 3-way tie in fourth with Patrick Reed and Jordans Piece.
