The Pittsburgh Steelers are off to a 4-2 start, but the coaching staff appears to be leaning toward making major changes.
On Saturday, multiple reports said the Steelers will name veteran signal-caller Russell Wilson the starter for their Week 7 game against the New York Jets.
Fourth-year QB Justin Fields started the first six games of the season.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is still considering his decision, according to a report from NFL Network on Tuesday. Wilson reportedly practiced with the Steelers' first-team offense.

Wilson was a potential starter coming out of training camp, but a calf injury kept him out of the Steelers' season opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
Fields helped the Steelers win their first three games of the year. However, Pittsburgh suffered consecutive losses until a landslide victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6.
Steelers legend Justin Fields has “absolutely no intention” of replacing him with Russell Wilson
Fields has had some success this season, but admitted his overall performance hasn't established him as a starter.

“To tell you the truth, I don't think I played well enough,” Fields told reporters this week. “If I'm honest with myself, if I'm playing well enough, I don't think there's a question of, 'Who should play and who shouldn't play?'
NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Wilson is expected to start this weekend and “play most of the snaps,” while Fields will likely still see playing time.

Fields had five touchdowns and one interception through six games. He also had 231 yards rushing. However, the Steelers' offense has been mediocre, ranking 26th in total offense.
