Russell Wilson gushes over ‘warrior’ Malik Nabers, Giants receivers

They've already spoken. Soon, the Giants need to turn star wide receiver Malik Narvers and new quarterback Russell Wilson into action and exploitation.

After a sensational rookie season was thrown and thrown by Daniel Jones, Drew Locke and Tommy DeVito, the Neighbors will likely be able to reach even higher levels with Wilson, reaching his tendency to connect his targets and field deeply.

In their debut NFL season, the Neighbors recorded 109 receptions and seven touchdowns for 1,204 yards.

Now, Neighbors has a new guy tasked with bringing the ball to him.

“He's an explosive athlete,” Wilson said Wednesday. “His ability to make plays. I love Malik. I just look at the guy, his personality, his personality on the field, his attitude. I saw this one clip. I went down and then moved on to the next play.

“There are lots of competitors, warriors who he is, and that same play made me realize I noticed Theo. [Johnson] They were blocking the fields and creating giant blocks. Something like that is the look of a championship football. Obviously, look, [Nabers] It catches that screen against the Colts and takes 80 yards, 70 yards. That's pretty special. There are so many people in the world who can do that, and he is one of them. ”

Wilson was a bit exaggerated – Neighbors' screen against the Colts was 59 yards, but his points about Neighbors' big-play ability are accurate.

Wilson will be coming to the team that ranked 31st in the NFL in scoring (16.1 points in the game) and 28th in pass offense. He's on the scene to help with all of that.

Russell Wilson is the Giants' new quarterback.

At 36, the Giants don't expect him to become a miraculous worker, but they need a lot more efficient and moxie than the aging quarterback play they received in 2024.

A brief conversation with Nabers “fireshes,” Wilson said, 21-year-old.

Wilson crossed the road at the Giants facility alongside Jalin Hyatt, an unproductive third-round pick in 2023, saying, “I think he's an unfinished guy in terms of what he knows.”

Wilson sounded enthusiastic about throwing Darius Slayton to “and the ability to get off the field and play,” and gushed out about Onedale Robinson's versatility.

“He's like a backpack. Every time he touches a ball that's difficult to tackle, the ability to miss people, the ability to escape men, and his escape,” Wilson said. “I” played with such people before. ”

This was an impressive grasp of his new personnel, but that's not surprising to Wilson. When it comes to preparations, no one has ever accused him of sibling.

“I'm a bit of a movie rat,” he said. “I saw a lot. I saw almost every catch of each guy. I saw a lot of highlights of them. That's everything, so you really get wrapped up in it. If you really want to win, it has to be your lifestyle.
