Sometimes we're a little too far for similarities, but on Wednesday it seemed for a while that Ryan Clark's thoughts about Aaron Rodgers were about to fall off the rails completely.

Look, I'll be the first person to think, “Oh, this doesn't make sense,” but Ryan Clark will buy me this perfectly. Think about it: Scars were always jealous of Mufasa. He wanted to be King of the Lion. When it wasn't happy, he tried to form his own pride, his own crew.
If Scar had accepted his role and supported his brother, the lion would have thrived. Instead, his pursuit of power and glory came in exchange for destroying everything. Now I'm not going to say that Aaron Rodgers would guarantee that Mike Tomlin fell off the cliff and into the engraved flock of Buffalo, but I am not.
The truth is that Rogers doesn't play well with others. Clark is keen to point out that Rogers and Arthur Smith have nothing to show meshing, which will lead to leadership struggles. Can Tomlin hold it together? Perhaps, but even why do you take that risk when you're already a playoff team.
There aren't many wiggle rooms in Pittsburgh where aged veterinarians are on either side of the ball. They definitely made a mistake in the QB position by letting Justin Fields walk, but they can save this in a way that doesn't involve bringing in the most divisive QB in the league.
