Olivia Nuzzi, a former reporter from New York Magazine, has seen her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Rizza, move on with a new partner, Caroline Motley, who is significantly younger. Interestingly, she used to work for Kamala Harris.
Rizza, 51, was spotted by the Daily Mail enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway with 28-year-old Motley, known for her strong views on abortion rights and her openly expressed disdain for men.
Motley played a role in Harris’ unsuccessful 2024 campaign and has been photographed visibly upset during the vice president’s concession speech after the loss to Trump.
Described as a liberal activist who grew up in a wealthy environment—reportedly in a $7 million mansion near Washington, D.C.—Motley was seen grabbing coffee while holding a cup with Rizza’s name on it as she stepped out from her apartment, according to Mail Online.
Rizza soon followed with her luggage, and together they headed off in a limousine.
On her blog, Liza hinted at being in a new relationship but didn’t disclose any specifics. She shared, “I also met the most extraordinary woman I have ever known, a breathtaking beauty inside and out. Every day I am amazed at how incredibly lucky she was to love me back. We just celebrated our first year together.”
According to his LinkedIn profile, Rizza’s new girlfriend is 23 years younger and recently completed a master’s degree at George Washington University.
Motley has quite a background too; she grew up in a large mansion in Virginia, neighboring prominent figures like Dick Cheney and Robert Bork, as reported by Mail.
This new relationship comes on the heels of Rizza’s dramatic split from Nuzzi after their two-year engagement fell apart in September 2024. The breakup followed Nuzzi’s highly publicized romance with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Nuzzi, 32, has been teasing details regarding her alleged affair, likely to promote RFK Jr.’s memoir, yet Rizza retaliated by criticizing their relationship in a blog entry. He even accused former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford of having a parallel relationship with Nuzzi while discussing him.
Adding to the chaos, Rizza revealed an awkward poem sent to Nuzzi by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which included cringe-worthy lines like, “You are my valley. I want to flow through you.”
