Ryan Reynolds is said to have been difficult on one of his previous films, according to his former co-star Matthew Lawrence.
In his “Brotherly Love Podcast,” Lawrence shared a recollection of working with Reynolds in the 2000 film “Boltneck.”
“The production team was really struggling with Ryan,” Lawrence said. “This is a young Ryan,” he emphasized.
Lawrence pointed out that he had a bit more experience on set than Reynolds, who was a child actor, and that Reynolds was not “dialed in.”

“He was leaving – he just wanted to do his thing, and the producer told him, and they told him, you have to do your own thing.”
According to Lawrence, Reynolds said he was “upset” by the criticism and “I'm doing my thing.”
“The production team was really struggling with Ryan…this was a young Ryan.”
“Boltneck” starred Lawrence as a nerdy teenager named Frank Stein.
Lawrence intended the producers to have a dark tone similar to a film like “Donnie Darko,” but Reynolds tried to infuse humor into the performance.

“I'm not even angry with Ryan. He's honestly been faithful to him being authentic because he was trying. [to] “dead pool”. That's what he was trying to do to the script on the set, 'Mrs.'' the star said.
Lawrence also shared his performance that he “violated a meeting between the manager and Reynolds.”
“This crew had just been nominated for an Oscar, so that moment was a big deal. We're talking about frustration on the set with the actor,” he said.
“Boltneck” producers Paul Kolichmann and Mark R. Harris have recently been working on the film “Gods and Monsters,” starring Ian McKellen and Brendan Fraser. He won three Oscar nominations and won the best adaptation script for writer Bill Condon.

“They criticized the film for not addressing him.
The 45-year-old also said the crew was ready to write down Reynolds' suspected behaviour and said, “We had so much hope for this guy. He's not going anywhere.” Ta. Wolverine: Starr's current success.

Lawrence concluded that it was “his experience” with Reynolds, and stated that “he was clearly matured as a human.”
The episode of the “Brotherly Love” podcast was dedicated to recreating the drama between Reynolds' wife Blake Lively and her “It Endy” co-star and director Justin Baldoni.
