Sabrina Carpenter kisses Jenna Ortega in morbid new ‘Taste’ music video

Sabrina Carpenter and Jenna Ortega try to kill each other — and then kiss! — Singer New “Taste” music video, It fell on Friday.

The somber video kicks off with a much-needed graphic warning before Carpenter goes off to get revenge on her boyfriend’s new lover (played by Ortega).

But the “Espresso” singer, 25, didn’t expect the “Wednesday” star, 21, to get into a bloody fight with even more unusual weapons, including guns, machetes, Voodoo dolls, fire and even her own severed limbs.

The bloody mayhem that ensues is straight out of a horror movie, complete with a plot twist worthy of the cinema.

As Ortega shares a passionate kiss with the male lead, he envisions kissing Carpenter instead, seemingly experiencing a sexual awakening.

When the “Halloween” star noticed, he pulled out a chainsaw and plunged it into Carpenter’s chest, but it ended up being her boyfriend who was stabbed.

The moment was perfectly timed with the lyrics, “I heard you guys got back together, and if it’s true / You gotta taste me when he’s kissing you.”

The pair attended the man’s funeral together but ended up leaving early to chat over coffee about her late ex-husband’s “erratic” and “persistent” behavior.

Fans online were quick to notice that some of the bloody shots seemed to reference iconic moments in film history.

At one point, Ortega dons a nurse’s outfit and eye patch reminiscent of the one worn by Daryl Hannah in Kill Bill: Vol. 1.

They also referenced the 2000 film “Ginger Snaps,” in which Carpenter was stabbed by a white picket fence, leaving a gaping hole in his abdomen.

Several other scenes seemed like an ode to the Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn hit “Death Becomes Her.”

Carpenter’s long-awaited album, “Short and Sweet,” was officially released on Friday. The first two singles from the album, “Please Please Please” and “Espresso,” were released earlier this year and dominated the charts.

The fun shoot solidified their romance, but things reportedly got tense soon after. He told people Last week he said the couple’s relationship was “on and off”.

However, he did not reveal the status of Carpenter’s current relationship with the Saltburn star.
