On Saturday, the former Disney star got a mix of reactions after opening the show with hit songs such as “Bedchem” and “Espresso.” In a risque performance by Carpenter wearing a red lingerie ensemble, British residents threatened broadcaster Ofcom. According to the BBC, the 9pm watershed policy aims to prevent programming that is not suitable for children to be aired early.

A Carpenter representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Fox News Digital.

A representative from Ofcom told Fox News Digital that it plans to publish a viewer's complaint report on March 5th. If you receive more than 50 performance complaints, your Carpenter performance will be documented.
Carpenter has always remained faithful to who she is, especially when it comes to expressing herself through her artistry.
“This is my diary,” she said in an interview with Vanity Fair 2024.
