The young fan, decked out in a heavily decorated Girl Scout Daisy uniform, couldn’t contain her excitement when superstar Sabrina Ionescu walked her out onto the court on Friday night.
The girl was standing courtside while Ionescu and the New York Liberty warmed up before a game against the Washington Mystics at Barclays Center.
The girl gave a thumbs up in support as Ionescu passed by.
Ionescu returned the sentiment each time, inviting fans onto the floor to greet them in a heartwarming moment.
In a moment she’ll never forget, the little girl ran up to Ionescu, gave her a hug and then returned to her seat with a big smile on her face.

Liberty is off to a strong start this year, with a 5-2 record prior to Friday’s game.
On a personal note, Ionescu and the Liberty agreed to a two-year contract extension earlier this month.
The Liberty have already allocated six guaranteed salaries to other players, meaning Ionescu’s raise will not be protected.
