Sade Robinson family notified of human arm washed up in Illinois

A human arm was discovered on an Illinois beach this week. More than seven weeks have passed since a 19-year-old college student was murdered and dismembered nearby during a date.

Investigators have not confirmed that the limbs are those of Sayde Robinson, but said they notified her grieving family on Mother’s Day. WISN reported on the 12th.

The gruesome discovery was made Saturday by a person walking along Waukegan Municipal Beach, more than 80 miles south of the Milwaukee underground sex dungeon where police believe Robinson was murdered.

The Milwaukee Regional Technical College student was killed on April 1 after a date with 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson at his home, prosecutors said.

Anderson’s basement was outfitted with “sex slings, restraints, and handcuffs,” and the bed and walls were covered in bloodstains that, eerily, did not match Robinson’s at all.

Her cell phone rang in several locations around the city from midnight until 4:30 a.m., eventually dying near the shores of Lake Michigan. The Honda that Robinson set on fire was found several hours later several miles away.

Police said Robinson’s severed leg washed up on the shore three days after the ill-fated date.

In the weeks that followed, legs, torsos, arms, and pieces of human flesh were found strewn on the beach.

Her family is holding off on giving Robinson a proper funeral until the rest of her body is recovered.

“(Robinson’s mother) wants the rest of the baby. We can’t talk about cremation or burial or anything like that,” Erica Brown told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel last week. .

Anderson, who has at least three previous convictions for domestic incidents, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilation of a corpse and arson.

He pleaded not guilty last month. He is being held on $5 million bail.
