Louisville’s Tyler Schaff was the third quarterback filmed in the 2025 NFL Draft, and Chedur Sanders passed away again when the saints chose him in their 40th overall selection.
The Saint was expected to take a quarterback at some point in the draft and was considered a possible landing spot for Sanders.
Shough’s shares have been on the rise recently, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter said that before the second day of the draft he would not be “shocked” if Louisville products were filmed before Sanders.
After playing seven seasons of college ball, spending a year at Texas Tech and Louisville, calling Shough a super senior isn’t stretch.

In 12 games last season, the Cardinals were 8-4, with Shaff pronounced “Shack,” and recorded a completion percentage of 62.7 while throwing for 3,195 yards and 23 touchdowns.
The 25-year-old joined Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart as the first quarterback ever filmed in this year’s draft.
