Sam’s Club Introduces Pizza Delivery
This is exciting news for pizza enthusiasts.
In a time when you might pay $6 for a slice or $40 for a pie in New York, the idea of a $9 pizza sounds appealing. And getting it delivered? That’s just perfect.
Sam’s Club, a well-known membership-only warehouse, has just announced that their popular 16-inch hot baked pizza, priced at $8.98, will now be available for home delivery. This pizza has long been a favorite at the store’s food court.
Customers can order this new delivery option through the Sam’s Club app or website. It’s part of a distribution service that allows members of Walmart-owned stores to get their orders right at home.
However, there are delivery fees, and the exact amounts are still a bit unclear.
Even with those additional costs, you’ll find the total for a large pizza to be quite reasonable, especially considering how prices are these days. And if you’re feeling adventurous, you could always add a salad or drinks for the ultimate dinner experience.
In a recent press release, the store mentioned their aim to make life easier for customers, especially when it comes to enjoying those favorite food court items from the comfort of their couches.
“When we talk about innovation, it’s not just about the new,” said Kurt Hess, group director of operations at Sam’s Club. “It’s about making life easier for our members.” He noted that pizza delivery perfectly combines value and convenience, tapping into what many shoppers want today.
The announcement surprised many fans of the warehouse chain. In fact, on social media, the news brought out ecstatic responses. One user wrote, “yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!”
Another expressed, “Game Changer!!!” and someone else shared that they’ve been putting pizza in their regular grocery orders.
It seems this decision is striking a chord with many, perhaps rekindling fond memories of Sam’s Club before even the likes of Costco came around.
