Samsung Partners with CLEAR for Digital ID Feature

In collaboration with CLEAR, Samsung is introducing Samsung ID with CLEAR, a free digital ID within Samsung Wallet. This feature utilizes information from a U.S. passport, allowing eligible Galaxy users to confirm their identity at over 250 participating TSA checkpoints that accept digital IDs.

Eligibility and Requirements

Currently, Samsung ID with CLEAR has some limitations. It’s available only to U.S. passport holders and is functional solely at TSA checkpoints that support this digital verification. To utilize Samsung Wallet, you also need a compatible Samsung smartphone running Android 9.0 or later, along with a Samsung account. Availability can differ based on your device, airport, and TSA equipment.
