Samsung has announced three Galaxy S24 smartphones.
The three devices, S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, became available for order on Wednesday, the same day the company hosted its Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event.
Galaxy AI, the artificial intelligence (AI) technology built into the company's latest smartphones, attracted particular attention. Samsung has revealed that it is launching what it calls a “new era of mobile AI.”

What is artificial intelligence (AI)?
Samsung said it has introduced Galaxy AI in tools such as live translation for phone conversations and text messages, and interpretation for face-to-face conversations. The company says the AI in its new smartphones can also adjust the tone of messages, summarize notes, and transcribe voice recordings to text.
The company claims Google's ability to let users “circle, highlight, doodle, or tap anything on your Galaxy S24's screen to reveal helpful, high-quality search results.” Introduced the function “Circle to Search”.
The company also introduced a number of AI-powered features for camera and photo editing, including “Generative Edit.” Photos edited with generative AI-powered devices will display visual watermarks and metadata indicators to show the usage of the technology.

The S24 Ultra will feature a new 5x optical zoom lens in its “Quad Tele System,” which Samsung says will “work with a 50MP sensor to deliver magnifications from 2x, 3x, 5x to 10x. “It delivers optical-quality performance at zoom levels up to 2x.”
Samsung said Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will run its model.

At 6.8 inches, the S24 Ultra is also the largest of the three in terms of display size. According to the company, the display size of the S24+ will be 6.7 inches measured diagonally, compared to 6.2 inches for the base model.
For the S24 Ultra, Samsung has chosen titanium as the frame material. It uses a titanium frame and comes in color options such as titanium gray, titanium black, titanium violet, and titanium yellow.
Consumers who get the S24+ and S24 can choose from Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet, and Amber Yellow. Samsung says that, like the S24 Ultra, these two models also come in several online-only colors.

According to Samsung's website, Samsung has set starting prices for the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra at $799.99, $999.99, and $1,299.99, respectively.
The introduction of the company's Galaxy S24 phones comes about a year after the S23 slate hit the market.
