During the opening night of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art on Saturday, Samuel L. Jackson was caught in a delightful moment with a life-sized figure of his iconic “Star Wars” character. Fans have praised his reaction as “perfect.”

Aviral video from Deadline shows Jackson strolling through the museum’s extensive galleries when he suddenly halts. He performs a classic double take upon seeing Mace Windu, outfitted in full Jedi attire, before a broad smile spreads across his face.

The Lucas Museum, established by the legendary director George Lucas along with his wife Mellody Hobson, is entirely focused on visual storytelling. It is set to open to the public on Tuesday in Los Angeles’ historic Exposition Park.

Initially, the couple had tried to establish the museum in both San Francisco and Chicago. However, after encountering legal and political challenges in those cities, they ultimately decided on Los Angeles, according to Deadline.

Guests were treated to an extraordinary aerial display from the museum’s rooftop at 9 p.m., featuring a live narration by Oprah Winfrey and Jackson.

This mesmerizing drone show showcased beloved pop-culture icons, such as R2-D2 from “Star Wars” and Captain America from Marvel, while also honoring renowned artworks like Banksy’s “Girl with Balloon” and pieces by Frida Kahlo.

The night attracted a remarkable roster of film industry heavyweights, including Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, Francis Ford Coppola, and many others. Notable guests like Robert De Niro, Tyler Perry, and Katy Perry were also spotted mingling with Bob Iger during the event.

The Lucas Museum highlights visual storytelling through the ages, featuring over 1,300 pieces displayed across 30 galleries from a total collection of approximately 40,000 works.
