San Francisco rolls out Newsom-approved program fining speeders based on income

San Francisco recently became the first city to install speed cameras as part of a broader program aimed at reducing speeding, improving traffic safety and preventing traffic-related deaths.

The initiative was creating an unpleasant program aimed at making highly damaged boulevards and school zones safer, but the state Democrats behind it allowed ideology to destroy the new speed safety systems pilot program and convert it into a penalty system that was acquired by three-tier stocks.

Therefore, drivers traveling on vehicles with 26 mph with posted speed limits will, of course, have to pay $200 unless they qualify for a “low-income fee.” Those with public support travelling at more than 100 mph will be hit for just $40.

For San Franciscans, if they exceed federal poverty levels by 251%, the fine could reach $500.
