Reimer, 35, cited religious beliefs as a reason for avoiding jerseys.
“For my entire 13-year career in the NHL, I have been a Christian, not only in my title, but in the way I choose to live my life every day. and in response I ask everyone to love and follow him,” he tweeted on the team’s Twitter feed. No. I have always tried to treat everyone I meet with respect and kindness.”

The radical gay pride agenda is finally seeing a backlash after years of near 100% compliance with all professional teams and leagues indulging in rampant awakened virtue signals.
But now there is a growing trend in professional and semi-pro sports of athletes who oppose the radical LGBTQ agenda and refuse to wear their team’s gay pride jerseys.
To name a few recent examples, Flyers’ Ivan Provorov refused to participate in the team’s gay pride jersey in January, Australian footballer Cairns Taipans decided to ditch their gay pride jersey at the end of January, and Minnesota The entire Wild opted out of wearing the jersey earlier this month.
Nonetheless, the left is marching and attacking Sharks goalie Reimer for his decisions. Regardless, he’s been accused of all kinds of evil.
No one is asking you to have sex with a man in the name of inclusion. It’s a T-shirt.

Thank you James Reimer for reminding me that organized religion/Christianity is an umbrella for the worst of humanity to protect themselves from.Sad that you are Canadian but luckily not enough to represent our country on any meaningful level https://t.co/VH2MnzJowQ

People like James Reimer and Ivan Provorov are hypocrites and I hate them. It makes me sick to think I helped them become millionaires.

I can’t believe James Reimer is allowed to play at all during this game! Is the little patch on his uniform an insult to gay players in the NHL, or is he just making a fuss to pull himself up to some sort of stature?

But make no mistake, the player has his supporters.
Activities should not be coerced by employers. It’s wrong to force someone to defend a cause they don’t believe in. It’s good that Rymer got up.

Under the umbrella of insincere bullshit you can fuck right away with this statement. cannot be obtained by any method. Jesus is not impressed. https://t.co/NfqGMGQqRr

no. Your manipulation has no power here. I don’t have to do anything to prove to the public that I am for or against something. Forced speech is a tyrant’s weapon.

This is the belief of a man’s heart. You prove the suspicion of many that you are trying to force people to do something contrary to what they believe. To me it looks like you’re trying to enforce mob rules. pic.twitter.com/G4yOuTL9kl
