San Jose Sharks Goalie Opts Out of Wearing Gay Pride Warm Up Jersey

The Waxters attack Saturday after San Jose Sharks goaltender James Reimer announced on Twitter that he would not wear the Sharks’ gay pride warm-up jersey during the team’s gay pride night game against the New York Islanders. performed

Reimer, 35, cited religious beliefs as a reason for avoiding jerseys.

“For my entire 13-year career in the NHL, I have been a Christian, not only in my title, but in the way I choose to live my life every day. and in response I ask everyone to love and follow him,” he tweeted on the team’s Twitter feed. No. I have always tried to treat everyone I meet with respect and kindness.”

“In this particular instance, I am choosing not to endorse anything that goes against my personal beliefs based on the Bible, the supreme authority in my life,” he added.

“I strongly believe that everyone has worth and value and that the LGBTQIA+ community, like all other communities, should be welcomed in all aspects of the game of hockey.”

The team said it “recognises and accepts the right of individuals to express themselves, including how and whether they choose to express their beliefs, regardless of cause or topic.”

The radical gay pride agenda is finally seeing a backlash after years of near 100% compliance with all professional teams and leagues indulging in rampant awakened virtue signals.

But now there is a growing trend in professional and semi-pro sports of athletes who oppose the radical LGBTQ agenda and refuse to wear their team’s gay pride jerseys.

To name a few recent examples, Flyers’ Ivan Provorov refused to participate in the team’s gay pride jersey in January, Australian footballer Cairns Taipans decided to ditch their gay pride jersey at the end of January, and Minnesota The entire Wild opted out of wearing the jersey earlier this month.

Nonetheless, the left is marching and attacking Sharks goalie Reimer for his decisions. Regardless, he’s been accused of all kinds of evil.

But make no mistake, the player has his supporters.
