‘Sanctuary’ Cities Bused Nearly 60,000 Migrants Out of Their Areas

Liberals have accused Texas of mistreating immigrants by busing them north in recent years, but those same Democratic-majority blue cities have also changed their tune and are bussing about 60,000 people back to other blue cities.

be detail Article The New York TimesTexas’ Republican governor, Greg Abbott, has ordered buses of about 120,000 migrants from border towns to other cities, including New York City, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver and Philadelphia.

Most of the migrants who have benefited from Texas’ transportation program are from Venezuela, but many others come from poverty-stricken countries.

Abbott’s busing plan changed the debate over immigration. Without busing north, Texas would have been a longer-term destination for these border migrants, and it would have taken much longer for them to spread to other states. This would have given Democrats enough time to accuse Texas of mistreating migrants without worrying about the consequences at home.

But as tens of thousands of immigrants began pouring into cities, Democratic states were forced to spend billions of dollars on housing and other free services, testing their sanctuary claim. Those northern states didn’t mind Texas being forced to spend billions on immigrants, but they wouldn’t mind Texas having to pay them the same.

In fact, since the Texas bus transit program began, many of these northern cities have started their own bus transit programs.

of Times He noted that many of these states, despite their long-held claims to be “welcoming” places, have tried to drive immigrants away themselves. New York has bribed over 35,000 immigrants to leave the state and move to Illinois, Florida, and even Texas. Denver has also tried this tactic; it’s documented to have sent at least 22,000 immigrants elsewhere. Illinois has offered free bus and plane tickets to over 7,000 immigrants, but only if they leave the Land of Lincoln.

but, Times Without pointing that out, this article shows how Joe Biden’s immigration crisis is bringing poverty to America.

Some articles try to portray some of these immigrants as living the “American Dream” after being bussed to New York City.

The paper tells the story of Raidel Grau, one of the Cuban immigrants who was bussed from Texas to New York. Grau said: Times He’s excited to live in New York City and earn $30,000 a year working in a meat processing plant.

“My American dream has come true,” Grau told the paper with a happy look on her face. “I’m here.”

But is this really a great success story? In fact, Grau’s $30,000 a year salary is poverty Rates for a family of four in New York City.

While $30,000 a year may seem like a lot of money to Grau, it’s below the official poverty level for New York City families, meaning his family still receives state and federal welfare benefits, making it a burden on Americans rather than a benefit to society.

In fact, statistics show that 59 percent of illegal immigrants and 52 percent of legal immigrants are recipients of some form of welfare.

Grau is lucky, too. He has a job. Many others don’t work at all, completely hamstrung by the American system. The reality is that Joe Biden is importing millions of welfare recipients and poor people into America.
