On Wednesday, four American “sanctuary” mayors will appear before a House committee on surveillance and government. Committee members have many questions.

They can now start: Is there anything American citizen deserves illegal aliens?

For years, these mayors have stormed urban budgets to provide free housing, healthcare, schooling, legal assistance, and other benefits for new arrivals. Can they distinguish between taxpayers who voted for jobs and voted for uninvited, unacceptable immigrants?

This week, four “Sanctuary City” mayors: “Accountable”

Then, if I was on the committee, I have specific questions to each mayor:

beginning, Mayor Michelle Wu of Boston “Our job at the city level is to follow the law.” Boston's “trust law” is Boston's excuse last year for refusing to respect the demands of 15 detainees from immigration and customs enforcement. He asks Wu if she is willing to change the law.

Boston's “sanctuary” policy makes it difficult for ICE to find and arrest dangerous aliens like MS-13 members Luis Adolfo Guerra PerezSuspicion of child rapist Mynor Stiven de Paz-Munozand suspected drug dealer Gustavo Augusto Murotsukoski. And it could have made the city attractive Corey Alvarezwas released on parole at the border, went to an immigration shelter in the Boston area, and was later charged with raping a 15-year-old disabled girl.

Boston Mayor Wu responds after getting sick and tired after attempting to stab a suspect in a stabbing wound killed by a non-service officer.

It's a difficult question, but after that Spend $650,000 WU should be ready for the hearing, with the amount of the Boston taxpayer amount. I think her answer is “no.” Her attitude towards crime was summed up last weekend when a crazy attacker tried to stab people with a knife and was shot by a police officer who was thinking about it. Woo's reaction? Apologise to the perpetrator's family.

I ask Mayor of Chicago Brandon Johnson Whether Chicago is right to spend $95 million has approved the community's costs to pay for shelters that live in illegal immigrants. And I ask him why Chicago It will be sent The $14.7 million “Resiliency” checks $500 from tens of thousands of workers, noting that the immigration situation is not an issue.

Chicagoans seem to be unhappy with so many new English learners in struggling public schools, having to pay for new immigration shelters when the city is in debt and facing budget cuts. Brandon might think that Chicago is the “world capital of the world” (his geography is not very big, but he has mastered tautology), but his approval rating is only 6.6%.

I ask Denver Mayor Mike Johnston What he calls the situation two years after Mayor Hancock at the time is that the city has “urgent” with only 400 illegal foreigners from the border. Since then, Denver has won more than 40,000 illegal immigrants and has spent an estimated $340 million on housing, healthcare and thousands of new public school students. He also asks Johnston if he thinks it's fair to cut down on police and fire budgets in Denver and pay everything.

Johnston says he supports deportation for violent criminals. If he is serious, ask if he is ready to support Colorado House Building 1140. Currently, the 2019 Colorado law prohibits this information sharing.

I ask New York mayor Eric Adamsformer police officer, about crime. New York City police estimate that three-quarters of people arrested for assault, robbery and domestic violence in midtown Manhattan are illegal immigrants. Aliens are also well represented by pickpockets, shoplifting, and wallet sucking – people like people Jefferson MaldenadoHe was finally arrested five times.

New York City policy should not ask officers or track the immigration status of suspected criminals. But at the same time, the city council is fair Passed the law Before putting anything into a financial kitten, you will be allowed 23 forms of ID cards that can be used to allow illegal aliens to access housing, health care and schools to obtain city ID cards. Incredibly, this list of acceptable IDs includes a paper showing illegal immigrants being arrested at the border by ice and federal prison records.

So I ask Adams to square the circle: why give the alien ID and advantage, but don't track their status? Taxpayers deserve to know who is biting their hands feeding them.

Wednesday's hearing will be something to watch. These four mayors will leave their friendly territories and testify before councils that do not give sanctuary. Buckle up.
