Saquon Barkley has sweet family moment before Eagles playoff game

When Saquon Barkley took to the field at the rink for his first playoff game as an Eagle on Sunday, his biggest fans were nearby cheering him on.

The former Giants running back was spotted with his longtime girlfriend Anna Condon and their two young children, daughter Jada and son Saquon Jr., for the wild-card game against the Packers at home in Philadelphia. They shared a heartfelt moment. Shared on social media.

Barkley, who joined the Eagles last offseason on a three-year, $37.75 million contract, held his two children near the end zone before shaking Jada's special hand. He and Condon then shared a kiss.

On Sunday, the Eagles got off to a explosive start, recovering a Packers fumble on the first kickoff and allowing their offense to take control, scoring a touchdown on their first drive.

Philadelphia led Green Bay 10-0 at the end of the first quarter.

The Eagles rested several key starters last week in the regular-season finale against the Giants, including Barkley, who was chasing Eric Dickerson's 2,105-yard rushing record set in 1984.

At the time of Week 18's matchup, which the Eagles ultimately won 20-13, Barkley had 2,005 rushing yards in 2024.

Barkley, 27, told reporters he was fine with whatever coach Nick Sirianni decided before the game.

“There's a reason he's the head coach. He makes those decisions, and no matter what decisions he makes, I'll tell him if he lets me play. I told them, I'm going to go out there and make sure I figure it out. If I don't, I'm fine with that,” he said at the time.

Sunday's wild-card matchup will be Barkley's third appearance in the postseason.

He reached the playoffs for the first time with the Giants during the 2022 season. The team defeated the Vikings in the wild card round, but lost to the Eagles in the divisional round.

Barkley's family supported him throughout his tenure with the Giants, which began in 2018, when the team drafted him second overall.

He and Condon began dating during their college days at Penn State University.
