Unraveling the Trump-Russia Story
Sarah Carter vividly recalls the moment when the Trump-Russia collusion narrative began to fall apart.
“I didn’t want to believe what I was seeing,” she reflected during an interview. At that time, Carter was collaborating with investigative journalist John Solomon, and they had begun to receive clues about possible surveillance directed at then-President-elect Donald Trump.
“I went to John’s office and said, ‘John, I think there’s someone at the FBI who is spying on President-elect Trump, the duly elected president of the United States,’” she remembered.
Initially, Solomon was skeptical but remained curious and decided to follow up with his source.
“He came back and said, ‘I’m not really sure.’ So, we began delving into this matter more deeply, determined not to let it slip away,” Carter explained.
Things shifted significantly in 2017 when Solomon was approached by an unnamed government official who disclosed that there was, as Solomon now asserts, an “11-year conspiracy” aimed at undermining Trump.
He recounted an eye-opening moment from a podcast discussion in April, where he emphasized that they were just “at the tip of a very large iceberg” and needed to dig deeper.
Recalling the peculiar encounter after being on Hannity’s show, Solomon noted, “I had just parked my car—right in front of our mailbox, flashers on—when two men got out of a government vehicle. Initially, I was worried about being in trouble, but they had an important message to share.”
“What you discussed on TV tonight… is part of a much larger story,” one of the men told him. They hinted at some “incredible political dirty tricks” being facilitated through powerful intelligence resources.
According to Solomon, these mysterious visitors encouraged him to “keep looking.” Carter later mentioned this incident during her talk with Hannity, noting how their combined efforts led to unearthing vital facts.
“Through my sources, we managed to unravel the beginnings of what could be one of the most significant stories in American history,” she stated.
