Clinton Deposition Refusal in Epstein Investigation
Hillary Clinton was scheduled for a sworn deposition this Wednesday morning regarding the House’s bipartisan investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, but she declined to participate. Similarly, her husband, former President Bill Clinton, also ignored a subpoena to appear before the House Oversight Committee.
In response, the House Oversight Committee is set to initiate contempt of Congress procedures against them.
“On one hand, it’s a bit disheartening to see more Democrats treating this issue as a political tool. Yet, on the other hand, Donald Trump might finally get a chance to fulfill one of his biggest campaign promises,” commented Blaze TV host Sarah Gonzalez.
“Remember when Democrats claimed it was the Republicans who were hesitant to investigate? In truth, it’s the Republicans stepping up to do the investigation. The Republicans control the House,” she added.
Gonzalez pointed out that Bill and Hillary Clinton play crucial roles in this entire situation and that they likely have essential information to share. “If we genuinely want to uncover the truth here, shouldn’t we hear from those two?” she remarked.
Representative James Comer (R-Ky.) has stated his intention to pursue contempt charges against them, but it looks like they aren’t planning to back down quietly.
The Clintons issued a statement highlighting concerns about government actions over the past year, including unprecedented measures against U.S. citizens. They mentioned incidents of individuals being detained by masked agents and students with visas being deported without due process.
Additionally, they criticized the treatment of those involved in the Capitol siege and voiced frustration with actions taken during the Trump administration. The statement concluded with a call to action, asserting that everyone must determine when enough is enough and be prepared to fight for the country and its principles.
Gonzalez ended with a light-hearted laugh, saying, “So even if you try to make up for it, you can’t.”
