Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has announced that she plans to run for re-election in 2026, although she has not completely ruled out becoming former President Donald Trump's running mate.

“I love the state of Arkansas and feel like I'm just getting started here in my first year in office,” Sanders said Monday during a speech at the Arkansas Christian Schools Summit. “I have a long list of things I want to accomplish.”
