One week after Morgan Warren abruptly exited the “Saturday Night Live” stage, expressing a desire to return to “The Kingdom of God,” the cast of the late-night comedy series, seized the opportunity to respond to the 31-year-old country star’s departure.
James Austin Johnson, who portrayed President Donald Trump during the initial cold open sketch, referenced Warren’s remarks on “The Kingdom of God” seconds after leaving the “SNL” stage.
“I impose tariffs on non-human islands. It’s called Heard and McDonald’s Island.” Johnson commented. “McDonald’s Island. I’d love to visit. Can you envision that? Big Mac and Fraskirt. You’re taking me to the Kingdom of God, right?”
During the weekend’s update sketch, Colin Jost remarked, “This has been the most challenging week for the stock market since the summer of 2020. But keep in mind, at that time, the president was Trump too. In just two days, investors have lost over $6 trillion.

Morgan, who appeared on “SNL” last weekend to promote his forthcoming album “I’m The Problem,” broke tradition and created quite a buzz after he walked off stage before the closing credits.

After host Mikey Madison expressed gratitude to the singer for his performance, Warren exited directly from the stage.
After the show wrapped up, Warren expressed his eagerness to return home and later posted on his Instagram story, “Get Me To God’s Country” accompanied by a photo of the plane.

A few days after the episode aired, Warren opened up about the challenges of fame.
“It’s still strange, and there’s an aspect of it [fame] that I dislike,” Warren stated in a recent episode of Theo Fons. “last weekend” a podcast released Wednesday but filmed before his “SNL” appearance. “For anyone who has to handle it… I don’t consider that ideal.”

“It’s not ideal to go out anywhere. You were once before because you thought you might, even if it didn’t concern you,” he elaborated. “There are limitations you have to consider. There are behaviors you avoid.”
However, he mentioned one form of leisure he enjoys, which enables him to escape the scrutiny.

“I can join my peers, I’m in the middle ground where I’m not recognized. I can feel relaxed,” he described. “I can’t feel pressured. You just have to find a way to balance it out, you know?”
When Von inquired if Warren could easily frequent bars unnoticed, Warren admitted to having thrown a chair from the sixth floor of Eric Church-backed Barchief in Nashville, Tennessee last year, but claimed he believed it was “the best” choice to leave.
“I mean, if you’re considering bars as a specific reference, that’s definitely the best situation for me,” he admitted. “I haven’t been there since I was in a bar that’s well known.”
