Saturday Night Live’s First ‘Nonbinary’ Cast Member out After Just Two Seasons

Molly Carney Saturday Night Live She was the first “non-binary” cast member to join the show in 2022, and will be leaving the show after just two seasons.

Carney announced his departure on Friday in an Instagram album that features photos from his time on the show.

“Hey everyone, this marks the end of my time on SNL! Looking back on the two amazing seasons I’ve had on this show, it truly feels like a dream come true,” Carney wrote.

Carney thanked the show for giving up its time, saying, “It’s such an honor to work with such talented writers,” and added, “I don’t even have to tell you about the cast.”

Carney, a Cleveland native, is Amazon’s A league of its own A remake of the 1992 hit film.

Carney is Disney+’s The Mighty DucksIn 2019, he was selected for Comedy Central’s “Up Next,” an annual showcase of comedians selected by the network through a nationwide search.
