Sauce Gardner weighs in on Aaron Rodgers-Vikings rumors

Source Gardner has squeezed rumours of the latest Aaron Rodgers.

Gardner's Jets teammate Rogers has emerged as the Vikings' “dark horse” quarterback option for two years, and as Sam Darnold is unlikely to return to Minnesota, NFL Network reported Saturday.

“If Aaron goes to the Vikings, he might be number one on all QB stats,” Gardner said. Posted on x on Sundayalong with crying emojis.

Rodgers failed to meet expectations during his tenure with the Jets, finishing 5-12 last year, missing almost the entire previous season as Achilles was torn apart.

And the new Jets administration – head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Moogie have decided to cut Rodgers as one of their first decisions in charge.

Rodgers has since emerged as perhaps the biggest domino in the free agent quarterback market, linking with the giants who desperately need a quarterback.

The Giants view 41-year-old Rodgers as a viable option as a player for a year, Paul Schwartz of the Post previously reported.

The Vikings are in an interesting position at quarterback.

They have JJ McCarthy. They drafted 10th overall last year and missed everything from last season due to being already on the roster due to a knee injury.

They chose not to place the franchise tag in Darnold, who enjoyed a career renaissance in his first year in Minnesota last year, allowing him to go to the open market.

He is expected to gain great interest from the Seahawks. According to Athleticshe just traded quarterback Genosmith for the Raiders.

Rogers signing the Viking would be creepy to Brett Favre's path.

Fabre, Rodgers' predecessor with the Packers, had stints with the Jets and Vikings to end his career after spending 17 years in Green Bay.

Rodgers spent 18 years with the Packers and was already stinting his jets – will the Vikings be next?
