Emotional Plea from Savannah Guthrie for Missing Mother
More than 25 weeks have passed since 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie vanished from her home in Arizona. On Monday, her daughter Savannah Guthrie delivered a heartfelt message directed at her mother’s abductors.
In a poignant post on her social media, Savannah expressed her family’s agony, stating they will “never stop searching for her.” She addressed the kidnappers directly: “Please do the right thing now,” she urged. “Help me find her. Please tell me where to look.”
Describing the ordeal, Savannah shared, “Today I come to you with a very specific message: It has been several months since my mother was taken away. Our family is in pain. Nothing has changed for us. We will always feel the pain for her and that hole in our hearts.” She emphasized, “It’s never too late to do the right thing. Make the right choices.”
A federal source involved in the case noted that Savannah has been in discussions with law enforcement regarding the release of her emotional video. This was her first update in several weeks, and there have been few signs of her mother’s whereabouts.
The family is actively seeking help, asking anyone with information related to Nancy’s disappearance to call 1-800-CALL-FBI, offering a reward exceeding $1 million. There’s also an additional reward for anonymous tips leading to an arrest, retrievable by calling 520-88-CRIME in Tucson.
Nancy Guthrie was reportedly taken from her residence in Tucson’s Catalina Foothills around the early hours of February 1. No significant forensic updates have emerged since then. Two men were initially detained and questioned but have since been released without any charges related to the case.
