A saxophonist dozed off during Kamala Harris’s remarks.
“At Wednesday’s Public Counsel Awards Dinner held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, the former vice president set a serious tone for the evening.” According to a report, “Yet, the saxophonist nearby appeared to be in an entirely different mood.”
You can catch the video below; it’s quite amusing.
This is funny because 1) the guy is quite large, 2) he shares the stage with Kamala, 3) he’s just a few feet away from her, and 4) it fits neatly into the narrative that Kamala talks a lot but doesn’t say much of substance.
Labeling the event a “powerful night,” the report mentions that while the saxophonist slept, Kamala was “considering the ‘No Kings’ rally and her long-term political strategy.”
Indeed, she must have been. After all, thoughtful insights are supposed to be her hallmark.
And you know, I think I should mention this because… well, maybe no one else will.
If that saxophonist had been white, can you just imagine the outrage? He would become the target of a media frenzy, branded as a racist and labeled as a villain fit for corporate media. Just like the reaction to that rodeo clown wearing an Obama mask (after previously donning a Bush and Clinton mask).
Oh, he would be framed and accused of being a Klansman who was pretending to be asleep just to humiliate Queen Kamala.
Even with her national loss in 2024, Kamala’s party is so weak that she is currently viewed as a frontrunner for the Democratic nomination in 2028. If that’s the case, we can expect some hilarious ads from the JD Vance campaign featuring the Sleeping Saxophonist. That video would be a brilliant troll, succinctly capturing Kamala’s emptiness.
The report adds that “the saxophonist managed to pull himself together to play Kamala offstage,” which was, without a doubt, the highlight of the evening.
CNN will likely spin this awkward moment just as they did with videos showcasing Joe Biden’s vulnerabilities, labeling a perfectly real video as something far different, which tends to embarrass the Democrats.
