Scaramucci: Believing Biden can make another 4 years is ‘political malpractice’

Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci argued it was “political malpractice” for President Biden to think he could continue to run the country if he was re-elected and didn’t suspend his campaign.

Scaramucci appeared on “The Cats & Cosby Show” on Friday with John Catsmatidis and Rita Cosby to discuss the aftermath of last week’s presidential debate and calls for Biden to drop out of the election.

“We need to think about these things honestly and evaluate them. I honestly don’t think he can win the election,” Scaramucci said.

“I don’t believe he’ll serve another four years and I think it would be a political blunder to claim otherwise at this point,” he continued.

Biden’s shaky debate performance has sparked fear and panic among Democrats, with some calling for the president to step aside and give someone else a chance to challenge former President Trump at the polls this fall.

Despite the criticism, Biden and his campaign insist they’re in it for the long haul. At his first major rally since the debate, the president made a bold statement saying he was continuing to fight.

While the decision to step down ultimately rests with the president himself, Scaramucci insisted the conversations also included Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and first lady Jill Biden.

Biden is scheduled to give his first post-debate interview on Friday night, in what is widely seen as a make-or-break moment for saving his campaign and appealing to voters.

Scaramucci, who worked in the Trump administration, argued that even if Biden hadn’t gaffed in the ABC interview, it would be unfair to voters for him to continue campaigning.

“I think this is very unfair to the American people. Whether you like Donald Trump or not, Democrats should have an opponent who can frame sentences and has the neuroflexibility to work off a teleprompter,” he said.

Scaramucci believes Vice President Harris will challenge Trump for the Democratic nomination, and has been a strong supporter of Biden since the debates.
