Scarlett Bordeaux Aims for Gold
Scarlett Bordeaux, a star in Major League Wrestling (MLW), is riding a wave of success following her recent appearances on “MLW Fusion.” With victories over Aleah James and Blair Onyx, her focus is now firmly on winning the gold medal.
Bordeaux expressed her happiness for her friend Shotzi, who recently claimed the MLW Women’s World Championship against Shoko Nakajima. Yet, Bordeaux made it clear she’s ready for a showdown when the opportunity arises.
“Hey, she’s being recognized for her hard work. This girl truly deserves it,” Bordeaux shared. “You won’t find a harder worker. She’s had like 24 matches in just the last month, in different countries. I’m beyond proud of her.”
While she supports Shotzi, Bordeaux is also ambitious. “I love her belt, it’s fabulous, but when I step into the MLW ring, it’s game time. I think that day is approaching, and I’m ready.” There’s a certain kind of tension in that, isn’t there? A mix of admiration and competitive spirit.
Talking about her recent match with Onyx, she recalled, “Wrestling Blair was something I was really looking forward to. She’s from the Black and Brave Academy, kind of connected to Seth Rollins, who was Tyler Black back in the day. So, it was special. She’s incredibly athletic, and I genuinely enjoyed working with her. There’s just something impressive about how she executed her moves.” It’s funny how in the heat of the moment, those little details can stand out so vividly.
Since her return to MLW last November, Bordeaux has been teaming up with her husband, Killer Kross, which she finds rewarding creatively. “We’ve been able to pitch some exciting ideas; I can’t say enough good things about MLW. The talent in the ring, including people like Lady Frost, who is quite the challenge but also remarkably skilled—it’s a great environment. I really feel fortunate to be part of this crew,” she said.
“MLW Fusion” airs on Saturdays at 6pm ET on YouTube, serving up more thrilling wrestling action for fans each week.
