Authorities say an enraged boyfriend slashed his girlfriend inside her Long Island home on Tuesday as she tried to end their relationship, saying, “I'm not leaving until I bleed.”
Marigny Yanez, 29, of Nassau County, became furious Tuesday night at her Levittown home when she told him she wanted to break up with him, grabbed a knife and stabbed her 29-year-old boyfriend's safe, stealing $100 from her boyfriend. It is said that compensation for damages was sought. This was revealed by the police and prosecutors.
Yanez then coldly threatened her, saying, “I'm not leaving until I see you bleeding,” according to the criminal complaint.
Shortly afterward, Jill's gal pal lunged at her partner, slashing her on the forearm and killing her on the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom floors of the home near Orchid Road and Snapdragon Lane around 9:30 p.m., authorities said. It is said that he left blood stains.
Yanez then dropped the knife and ordered an Uber to take him to an area hospital, according to the complaint.
Police were called to the house covered in blood, but the house was empty.
Yanez was later arrested at the hospital and charged with assault and weapons possession.

She pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Wednesday.
Judge Veronica Renta Irwin ordered Yanez to stay away from his partner and placed him under electronic monitoring.
Yanez's next court date is set for October 25th.
