Scottie Scheffler was all smiles Sunday, and not just because of his win at the Travelers Championship.
The win was Scheffler’s sixth in his last 10 starts, and it was capped off by an opportunity to celebrate with his wife and newborn son, Bennett, as Scheffler watched on as Meredith held the baby in her arms and headed for the green.
Meredith could be heard over the PA system talking to the baby as she descended.
“There he is. Are you that proud of him?” she said to Bennett.
The audio cuts out as the family exchanges hugs in celebration and Scheffler passes Bennett.
Sunday’s win was Scheffler’s second since the birth of his son, the other coming at the Memorial.
“I think it’s going to be a little different this afternoon when we get home,” Scheffler told CBS Sports’ Amanda Balionis as she held Bennett.
“I spend a lot less time sitting down and watching TV. I just sit here wondering how my kids are doing and it’s a lot of fun. I’m lucky to be surrounded by great friends here, it’s awesome.”

Scheffler has already said his life as a professional golfer has changed since the birth of his son in May.
The world’s number one-ranked golfer told reporters during the recent weather-related stoppage in play that his own time off had been a little different.
“Meredith and Bennett were there and we just spent time with him, changed his diaper, tried to get him to stop crying,” he said.
Scheffler won the Travelers tournament with a par on the first hole of the playoff against Tom Kim.
Both players were tied at 22 under par after regulation time.
The incident also came after climate change protesters stormed the 18th hole, forcing police to intervene and take some of them away in handcuffs.
