Scottie Scheffler is the FedEx Cup champion.
The 28-year-old dominated the field all year and made history on Sunday afternoon by winning the Tour Championship at East Lake in Atlanta.
Scheffler led all golfers in FedEx Cup points and had plenty of room to get ahead going into the tournament, having started the tournament two strokes behind at minus-10.

Excluding starting strokes, Scheffler's -20 was actually the third-lowest par score of the weekend, behind Collin Morikawa at -22 and Sahith Teegala at -21.
Having been the top prize winner in each of the past two seasons, Scheffler was expected to achieve something big this year – but even he would say it was beyond his wildest dreams.
He started the season with four top 10 finishes in his first five tournaments, but then stepped up a gear.
Over the next five tournaments it was win, win, T2, win, win. Those wins included the Arnold Palmer Invitational, The Players, RBC Heritage and of course the Masters.
But his season took a turbulent turn in May when he was arrested on his way to the second round of the PGA Championship at Valhalla. After spending time in solitary confinement, he shot a 66 later in the day to ultimately tie for eighth in the tournament.

Scheffler then won the Memorial and Travelers tournaments in June before winning Olympic gold in Paris last month.
Including the Olympics, Scheffler has eight wins, two runner-up finishes, 17 top 10s and no cuts in 20 tournaments. His seven PGA championships are his most since 2007.
With his $25 million win on Sunday, Scheffler's total winnings for the season now stand at a staggering $54,228,357, by far the most ever won in a single season.
For comparison, if Scottie Scheffler were an independent player in 2024, that would be the 14th-highest career earnings of all time. Scheffler has won more prize money this year alone than players like Rickie Fowler, Ernie Els, Davis Love III, Keegan Bradley and Steve Stricker have made in their entire careers.
With the win, Scheffler moved into second place on the PGA's all-time money list, passing Phil Mickelson.

Scheffler will once again have his sights set on the U.S. when he represents Team USA against Team International at the Presidents Cup in Montreal next month.
