The only person who has had as good a year as Scottie Scheffler may be his caddie, Ted Scott.
Following Scheffler's phenomenal run (which includes a $25 million prize in the FedEx Cup playoff finals), the veteran bagman is estimated to take home more than $5 million this year.
Scott is believed to have made $2.6 million just from Scheffler's 2024 win. According to Golf DigestThat's on top of the $2.5 million he won for winning the PGA Tour Championship.
“Yeah, I won't be back until 2026.” Scott posted on XHe responded to Scheffler's post about success in 2024 by adding an emoji of a winking face with tongue out.
Scott, a former caddie for Bubba Watson, was persuaded to not retire in 2021. According to WFAA.
The decision was beneficial for everyone, as Scott has a lucrative year in 2024 and has watched Scheffler develop into the No. 1 golfer in the world over the past few years.
NBC Sports estimates Scott's total earnings this year will be $5,238,499.57, which would put him in the top 20 on the PGA Tour money list.
That would put him ahead of Jordan Spieth and many other big-name golfers.

Scheffler and Scott's partnership began in 2021, when the two met while attending a Bible study group together.
“I have a lot of respect for him as a person, so I was attracted to him because he could be a good partner for me on the course,” Scheffler said of Scott, according to Golf Monthly.
