St. John's meets the 10th seeded Arkansas after knocking out 79-72 on Thursday at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. Here's how to look at Razorbacks:
– This will be the biggest team St. Johns faces all season. Arkansas starts two players over 6 feet 10 at Trevon Brazil and Jonas Aidoo, bringing the seven-foot-footed Zvonimir Ivisic off the bench.
They are seventh in the country with a block percentage of 15.3 – Division I averages 9.4.
– Arkansas has shorthandedly done for the past few weeks without major scorers Boogie Fland and Ado Tiero. Fland, a five-star Bronx freshman, returned to the tournament opener after Sam surgery, but Tiero stayed.
Coach John Calipari said Tiero, who is 6-foot-8-foot forward, will practice some on Friday and will be able to play with limited abilities against St. John's. He has been out with his knees stretched since February 22nd.
