Sean 'Diddy' Combs sets up Thanksgiving meal for 1,000 prisoners

He is currently incarcerated.

Sean “Diddy” Combs, a convicted sex offender, recently annoyed fellow inmates by funding Thanksgiving meals for 1,000 of them. This move may have been a way to break the monotony of prison life.

The 56-year-old hip-hop figure received a sentence in October that includes four years and two months behind bars, along with a $500,000 fine for transporting individuals across state lines for sex acts. He’s serving his time at a high-security facility, FCI Fort Dix, located in New Jersey.

In a surprising twist, Combs, who had considered hosting degrading parties he called “freak-offs” as a source of entertainment, collaborated with a group named Bankroll Bosses to purchase extra food from the prison commissary. They aimed to distribute this bounty among fellow inmates.

“For me, Thanksgiving is all about feeding others… It’s a tough time for many; everyone misses their families and can feel pretty down,” he shared with US Weekly via his publicist.

A former gang leader known as BI told Barron’s that the meals, prepared over two days by inmates, were distributed across multiple buildings. The cooks, lacking proper kitchen tools, improvised with items like ID cards to prepare their food.

“The ‘chefs’ here made the meals taste like grandma’s cooking. Many here don’t have much, and this is our way to give back,” he proudly stated.

Though Combs has been attempting to show a gentler side, troubling incidents hang over him. Disturbing surveillance footage from 2024 depicted him violently attacking his ex-girlfriend, singer Kathy Ventura, in a hotel hallway in Los Angeles.

This footage caught Ventura leaving the InterContinental Hotel in Century City in 2016, laden with bags, as Combs pursued her in only a towel and socks. The video went on to show him grabbing her, dragging her down, and then kicking her before reclaiming her bag.

There are numerous reports of Combs engaging in “freak-off” parties, which often coincided with lavish A-list events, where women were allegedly compelled to perform sexual acts.

In the meantime, a new investigation has been launched by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department concerning sexual assault claims against Combs. In 2020, he faced accusations of indecent behavior involving the late rapper Biggie’s shirt, along with other serious allegations.

Combs’ legal team has firmly denied all sexual abuse claims, labeling them as false and defamatory. His attorney, Jonathan Davis, stated, “Mr. Combs looks forward to clearing his name in court, not through media speculation, but based on actual evidence.”
