FOX News host Sean Hannity reveals 'Hannity's' border 'showdown'.
Sean Hannity: Now, in recent weeks, Texas has finally had to take full control of its public parks out of sheer necessity. This one is in Eagle Pass and served as a very important entry point for waves of illegal immigrants. Joe Biden has removed the investigation into illegal immigration, which now numbers about 10 million people. For three long years, Joe Biden has refused to secure this location or nearly anywhere else along the southern border. As he said earlier, we are now approaching 10 million illegal unvetted Biden numbers. Immigrants flock to Texas. And of course, distributed. Free transportation by Joe Biden, more people than the entire population of Dallas are currently going to the city and state, and frankly, we have no idea what to do with these people. And, by the way, there are very few people who don't have safety inspections and medical exams that are obviously not appropriate, but all of that requires public assistance money.
Abbott declares Texas has 'right to defend itself' against immigrant 'invasion' amid feud with Biden administration
This is a crisis that is affecting and affecting every corner of the country, but it is most acute in the border states. So, Governor Greg Abbott, they're not going to enforce the law. Naturally, he had to take matters into his own hands. And he declared a disaster, that's it. He has brought in state police and National Guard troops to protect the Texas border. he, Bait from Shelby Park At Eagle Pass. they weren't working. He ordered the installation of new fences and razor wire to deter illegal crossings. So how did the Biden administration thank Texas for its efforts to fulfill its mission and secure the border? They sued the state of Texas.
Now, this is the same Joe Biden, you know, Vladimir Putin can shoot down our drones and have no consequences. He could invade Ukraine without much repercussions. Xi's spy balloons, unfair trade practices, intellectual property theft, and confronting the air force on international air routes and the navy on international waterways. Iranian mullahs walk all over Joe. what does he do there is nothing. Now all of a sudden he wants to act tough because the president is doing business with the state of Texas, because the governor is doing Joe's job? Does that mean the governor is following the law?that Governor Abbott Is he trying to secure his state's borders and enforce the laws of this country to keep not only his people but all of us safe? And is Biden suing states over new laws that allow local law enforcement to arrest illegal immigrants in this country? And he even sued Texas over putting razor wire on the border, what was that crazy 5-4 decision? The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that the federal government can remove power lines.
But if you look at that ruling, it didn't prohibit Texas from filing it. So now Mr. Abbott has ordered the installation of even more razor wire. Incidentally, the court did not weigh in on Abbott's decision to kick the federal government out of Shelby Park. So now we have a strange showdown between law enforcement agencies. Abbott and Texas. They want to enforce laws and secure the border against Biden and the federal government, which has encouraged illegality and asylum abuses. These are the very people who have aided and abetted, broken the law, and allowed unvetted people from all over the world into our country. By the way, Mr. Abbott is not alone.
