Season 2 of 'The Golden Bachelor' Women Tell All Summary: The Golden Gals Confront Nicolle Kate, The Lemon Bar Story Concludes, And Mel Faces More Jokes

Golden Bachelor Season 2: Women Tell All Recap

Season 2 of Golden Bachelor is underway, with Mel Owens reconnecting with 15 of his former contestants at the Women Tell All event. Following this, he’ll be heading to Antigua for Fantasy Sweet Week with the final two women, Peg Manson and Cindy Angelcik Cullors.

The Women Tell All event promised a night full of surprises—unexpected guests, sneak peeks, and moments that hadn’t made it to air. The women shared their experiences, focusing on love, loss, personal growth, and of course, a hint of drama. Mel’s situation played out like a reality show, primarily revolving around tensions with a contestant named Nicole Kate, who somewhat controversially tried to redefine the mansion conflict as “female empowerment” while tearfully confronting Mel.

So what unfolded during this particular episode? Here’s a recap of the notable moments and attendees at the Women Tell All for Season 2.

Season 2, Episode 7: Women Tell All Attendees

Let’s take a look at who made it to the reunion. Here are the 15 women who appeared alongside Mel:

  • Alexandra, 67, a luxury yacht salesperson from Miami, Florida.
  • Amy, 63, a full-time mother based in Short Hills, New Jersey.
  • Andra, 77, a former federal employee from Los Angeles, California.
  • Kara, 62, a former model also from Los Angeles, California.
  • Carroll, 63, manages family affairs for baseball star Freddie Freeman from Villa Park, California.
  • Cheryl, 66, previously worked for the Treasury Department and lives in Lakewood, Colorado.
  • Debbie, 65, a fitness expert from Denver, Colorado.
  • Jeri, 64, runs a home care agency based in Rockville, Maryland.
  • Lisa, 66, works for state parks in Marion, Ohio.
  • Monica B., 62, is a flight attendant from Huntsville, Alabama.
  • Monica P., 60, a cosmetic dentist based in Birmingham, Alabama.
  • Nicole, 64, a yoga instructor from Miami Beach, Florida.
  • Robin, 63, a wealth advisor and vineyard owner from Napa Valley, California.
  • Roxanne, 62, has been a nurse in Austin, Texas for many years.
  • Terry, 71, is also a cosmetic dentist located in Houston, Texas.

Diane, another well-liked contestant, was scheduled to attend but missed the event due to her son’s wedding in Hawaii, which, let’s face it, is probably a pretty good excuse!

Nicole Addresses Her Intentions

During the reunion, as the discussion unfolded and everyone reflected upon their time on the show, Jessie gave Nicole the chance to speak. She insisted she didn’t come on with some grand strategy. “It’s just me being me,” she replied, recalling her romantic moments with Mel. “When we kissed, it felt like the world disappeared.” In her own way, it sounded sincere, but… it did raise a few eyebrows given the moments she had on camera.

The Lemon Bar Fiasco

Jesse brought up the infamous Lemon Bar incident, curious about what really went down. There were mixed accounts: Debbie said Mel loved lemons, while Nicole claimed she was the one who could bake. “I definitely led the way,” she remarked, trying to downplay any drama around it. Ah, didn’t want to look bad, did she?

Some of the other women seemed relieved that Nicole was confessing, and perhaps she was seeking to make amends. But when the topic of regrets came up, she maintained she had none, reminding everyone she was there for love. She also highlighted the empowerment of women—but whether anyone fully bought that narrative is another thing.

Yet, judging by the remarks from Debbie later, it seemed empowerment wasn’t at the forefront during Nicole’s actions, which felt a bit contradictory. At that point, Debbie took a stand, emphasizing true empowerment while calling out Nicole’s past behavior, stating, “You fired us.” It was quite the moment.

Debbie Deserves Recognition

Debbie, who came in third place, has been very relatable, sharing her genuine feelings throughout the season. She had even opened up about a painful chapter in her life. When Nicole tried to talk about her journey toward empowerment, Debbie wasn’t having it; she made it clear that Nicole’s statements didn’t align with her actions.

Debbie expressed disappointment in Nicole’s approach to dating and influence, suggesting that her motivations were perhaps not as noble as she claimed. “If you want to be an influencer, you can’t do it if no one likes you,” she stated, pointing out the inconsistency in Nicole’s character. It was a powerful moment, and many felt she was spot on.

The atmosphere changed as the night continued, with videos and shared laughs among the women, showcasing lighter moments and fond memories, adding some nostalgia to the evening. Mel eventually arrived, and even after some light teasing, there was an overall sense of camaraderie that emerged. After all, they survived the experience together!

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the upcoming episode on Wednesday, November 5th—Antigua should bring some excitement!
