A Seattle high school teacher has been accused of reprimanding a student who identified as “heterosexual” after giving the student an assignment to think about things like their sexual orientation and race.
Ian Gollash, a 10th grade teacher at Chief Seals High School, teaches ethnic studies and world history. Parents alleged that a child in the class claimed Mr. Golash had implied that being “straight” was offensive and implied that being gay was “bent.”
