Last weekend, Alex Stein, the host of “Primetime with Alex Stein,” found himself at the center of the No Kings protests in Dallas, where he was assaulted by a woman during the event.
“The footage you just saw is from last weekend. It was a second round of the No Kings protest, which was supposed to be anti-Donald Trump. Honestly, we weren’t even sure what it was all about since we don’t have a king in this country,” Alex remarked.
He went on to say, “They were acting like kings, being disrespectful, kicking me out of a public park while they were indulging in fentanyl.”
Ryan Gardusky, who was a guest on Alex’s show, described the protesters as “mostly older” and “overwhelmingly female.”
“It seems like they might be the last generation still watching cable news, creating a sort of mass hysteria driven by that culture,” he suggested.
Ryan noted that these elderly participants appear to believe that “democracy is ending,” despite evidence pointing to its continuation.
“It’s reminiscent of how some teenage girls suddenly identify as trans; it’s like they’re reacting to cultural messages they’re absorbing,” he added.
Alex compared economic situations across generations, saying, “You know, back in the day, hippies could purchase a home for just $100,000, and now those same homes might sell for $2 million.”
After being attacked during the protest, he pondered whether conservatives genuinely are the victims in today’s society. “We often claim we’re victims. But is that true, or is it just another right-wing myth?” he questioned Ryan.
Ryan responded that the threats were indeed real, mentioning he had received “over 1,000 threats… in just 12 hours” after being cut off by CNN for making comments some considered Islamophobic.
“The Republican Party seems to be under siege. Crazy individuals, lacking a moral compass, fail to see the humanity in others,” he remarked.
He went on to say that these individuals really believe they are “fighting against Nazis.”
He even speculated on the dangers of living in urban areas governed by predominantly Black Democrats, suggesting that’s a risky environment.
