A protester in Massachusetts had a bit of a mishap when she discovered her car had rolled into a lake while confronting agents from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This incident was caught on video by reporter Bill Melugin.

It took place in Upton, Massachusetts, where the woman was yelling at ICE agents who had detained at least one unauthorized immigrant. Melugin shared a brief video and a photo he received from a source on the scene. An agent in the video commented on the unfortunate event, noting the gray or silver crossover vehicle that ended up in the water, as the woman expressed her frustration at the agents.

According to ICE sources, it appears the woman neglected to put her vehicle in park before getting out to confront the agent.

This isn’t an isolated event. Protests against ICE have intensified since President Donald Trump’s administration began. In Illinois, for instance, unrest arose at ICE facilities, leading federal agents to resort to using pepper spray against protestors. Some incidents even included demands for agents to face violence.

In a separate shooting incident, a gunman fatally shot someone at an ICE office in Dallas earlier this week, before taking his own life. In Texas, a variety of people are facing attempted murder charges in connection with violence at ICE facilities since July 4th.

Resistance against ICE operations has included political figures, such as a Milwaukee judge who reportedly aided undocumented immigrants in avoiding agents, and Nashville’s Mayor Freddie O’Connell, who disclosed the name of an agent involved in immigration enforcement activities. Additionally, in New York City, a Democratic mayoral candidate was arrested for obstructing an ICE operation in a courthouse, and a New Jersey Democrat faced accusations for assaulting an ICE agent at a Newark facility.
