Eric Adams Confrontation at Airport
Former New York City Mayor Eric Adams was involved in a heated exchange with a woman at an airport, as seen in a video that surfaced on Tuesday.
The footage, shared on Reddit, captures Adams arguing with a masked female passenger while others were disembarking from their flight in Dallas. While the cause of the dispute isn’t clear, it escalated quickly into a shouting match on the jet bridge.
At one point, the passenger provocatively called out to Adams, challenging her to hit her.
“Mr. Eric Adams, please punch me in the face. I would appreciate it if you could punch me in the face,” she said.
Adams responded, “Fuck you…I’m not mayor anymore.”
The situation intensified as he leaned closer, warning her to “You’ll see Brooklyn in me.” It ended when another passenger intervened, pushing Adams away while onlookers watched.
Later, Adams shared the viral video on social media, simply commenting, “that’s right.”
In a separate announcement, he revealed the introduction of the “NYC Token,” a digital initiative intended to address rising anti-Semitism and anti-American attitudes both nationally and in New York City. Initially, the token’s value peaked at around $580 million, though reports indicated that a significant portion of its market value had been compromised.
Investors alleged that Adams might have facilitated a cash grab involving a meme coin advertised as a solution to counter anti-Semitism, accusing him of a “rug buy” scheme where only insiders benefited. Adams denied these allegations in a statement sent to CoinDesk, asserting that the adjustments were made in response to demand and confirming that he and his team did not sell any tokens, emphasizing their commitment to transparency and regulatory restrictions.
