The Avengers of basketball have officially assembled.
With just over two weeks left until the 2024 Paris Olympics, the powerhouse Team USA Basketball squad is gearing up, playing several showcase games in Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi and London.
In the first game, U.S. stars LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Joel Embiid faced off against Canada’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, RJ Barrett and Dillon Brooks, and after a slow start, the team came away with an 86-72 victory.
The team will next face Australia, led by Patty Mills, Josh Giddey and Joe Ingles, on Monday, July 15 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Steve Kerr’s newly-formed team will then face Serbia, led by Nikola Jokic, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Aleksej Pokusevski, at the same venue on Wednesday, July 17.
They will conclude their pre-Olympic activities when they take on Bol Bol and JT Soh’s South Sudan at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday 20 July and Dennis Schroder, Franz Wagner and Moritz Wagner’s Germany on Monday 22 July.
And if you do want to watch, last-minute tickets to the match in Abu Dhabi are surprisingly cheap considering all the talent that will be on display.

Team USA Women’s Basketball Showcase Tickets 2024
On Tuesday, July 23, Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner and Breanna Stewart will play the U.S. women’s team against the German national team at the O2 Arena in London.

There’s not much information on where these high-profile matchups will air, but the U.S. men’s basketball team’s Olympic contenders against Serbia (July 28), South Sudan (July 31) and Puerto Rico (August 3) have been confirmed to air on NBC and USA.
