Sen. Graham Issues Stark Warning to Iran

Senator Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, has sent a strong message to Iranian leaders, claiming that if the Iranian government continues to harm protesters, President Donald Trump will take extreme action against them.

Graham’s comments were made during an interview on Fox News, where he addressed the rising anti-regime protests in Iran. Reports indicate that as of Wednesday, over 36 individuals have lost their lives, and more than 2,000 people have been detained during these riots.

“Tonight, my fellow Iranians, we stand with you,” he stated to host Sean Hannity. “We support your fight to reclaim your nation from the Ayatollahs, the oppressive regime responsible for your suffering and global terror.”

He directly warned the Ayatollah, saying, “If you keep killing those seeking a better future, Donald J. Trump will kill you.”

Graham assured Iranians, “Help is on the way,” echoing sentiments amid the escalating tensions between President Trump and Iranian authorities.

In response to Trump’s tough talk, which followed a successful U.S. operation in Venezuela that led to the capture of Nicolás Maduro, Iran’s military leaders have threatened pre-emptive retaliations. Major General Amir Khatami remarked during a speech that they perceive this tough rhetoric as a direct threat and asserted that they won’t allow it to go unchallenged.

“If Iran engages in aggression,” Trump stated on Truth Social, “If they violently suppress peaceful protests—something they regularly do—the U.S. will respond decisively. We are prepared and ready to act.”

In the backdrop of these escalating anti-regime protests, the situation in Iran remains highly volatile. The ongoing unrest has, perhaps, intensified the focus on Iran’s internal challenges and its leaders’ responses to international pressures.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei recently addressed national stability in the wake of these developments, emphasizing the military’s readiness to defend the country against perceived threats.
