Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) appeared on Laura Ingraham's Fox News show Friday night and offered his “wholehearted” support for former President Trump, the current front-runner in the Republican primary.
Mr Lee said voters had a choice between “order” over “chaos” and it was time to support the former president.
“Look, whether you like Donald Trump or hate him, whether you agree with everything he says or not, he chooses order over chaos and America over America after America.” It's our only opportunity to do that,” Lee said on The Ingraham Angle. “It's time to get behind him.”
Lee added that Trump is keeping his campaign promises and that we know what kind of president he will be.
“Presidential elections always involve a lot of promises,” Lee said. “My favorite kind of political promise is one that's kept. Donald Trump has kept the promises he's made during past campaigns. We don't know what kind of president he will be. I am.”

He added: “So whether you agree with him on everything or not, if you're not happy with the status quo, which is lawlessness and putting America last, now is the time to support Donald Trump. .I do so wholeheartedly.''I support Donald J. Trump, who is running for president in 2024. ”
Including the newly announced endorsement from Utah's senator, Trump has received 21 endorsements from Republican senators to date, significantly more than his 2024 Republican opponent. His rivals, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, have yet to receive a single endorsement from a sitting U.S. senator.
Lee's endorsement is a sweeping move for the Utah senator, who President Trump endorsed in April 2022 when he was running for re-election and Lee won a race to retain his seat.
