House Appropriations Committee approves bill to cut Department of Health and Human Services budget

The House Appropriations Committee on Wednesday passed a bipartisan bill that would cut the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) budget by $7.5 billion, or 6.4%, in fiscal year 2025 from fiscal year 2024.
